Saw this, how could I pass it up? It’s got Mr Rogers in the middle. Of course it’s absurdist art. I had to look up Murry Bookchin and Abdullah Öcalan before sharing it to see if there was anything about them that was awful but nothing jumped out. Abdullah Ocalan’s story is particularly fascinating. I’m not literally putting these folks as saints or heroes : I don’t know enough about any but Mr Rogers to say. But with nothing overtly horrendous, I felt I could share this. [apologies to Eastern Orthodox friends as I know it’s a misuse of the iconography style but I suppose I’ve always had a post-modernist absurdism that I just can’t help]
