Same. The two teachers that did that instantly lost all of my respect. At that point, they were just “weird adults that weren’t good people”.

The teacher is “in loco parentis”. That’s law. There’s restrictions of course and it’s certinainly not unreasonable to request parents help out.But to require it of the parents? No. In loco parentis. She is not the parent’s parent.
