Sadly, true. I’m as l i b e r a l as it gets but hunting never bothered me, just excess like anything else in excess.
If species is endangered, a program to rehabilitate the species is reasonable, so long as there is also an exit plan.
Once rehabilitation is successful, then it can optionally be added as a huntable species again, perhaps with scheduled hunts paired with population monitoring like they do in hunting areas.
twas a long time ago though. The various parties and organizations have gone through many internal changes since then and only have the names the same anymore.
I’d like to see a little more classic NRA.
