Ruth Johnston Jes Scott Ok. I was wrong. Are school administrators learning about CRT in some school districts? Yes. A course from Pacific Education Group A single course out of many that they offer covers an Intro to CRT and uses as its background material a 2001 book written for non-legal people called: Critical Race Theory by Richard Delgado and Jean Stefancic I skimmed through the book. It does not teach race essentialism. Quite the opposite. “A third theme of critical race theory, the “social construction” thesis, holds that race and races are products of social thought and relations. Not objective, inherent, or fixed, they correspond to no biological or genetic reality; rather, races are categories that society invents, manipulates, or retires when convenient.”
