I had to educate a grown man about Rule 34.  He was … a bit shocked:

Don’t think it’s “just men”. A quick look at tumblr or deviantArt and the percentage that are women is equal. Most “Rule 34” artists seem to be teenage girls/young women.. and some of them (“shipping”) is pretty.. um… yeah. interesting.
