Rooms help you remember. Superimposed yet also distinct. Similar to transparencies stacked on top of each other. I saw a bunch of rooms from all across my lifespan. All different times and places. They started slowly then faster and faster until it was like a flipbook. But I could each room as it went by which was extremely quickly. Probably 150 or so rooms shown to me in just a few seconds. Finally the rooms collapsed on top of another. There was no 3rd dimension just the outlines of the rooms, their colors and textures and smells setting each one apart. But they were superimposed. Yet I knew who was who. Is this how memory stores information? In rooms superimposed? Or maybe I was touting the virtues of Microsoft Excel last night , that even though it’s limited in its scope, you can do a lot within those limitations, such as being able to see and use, change or delete any information from any cell at any time, concurrently, and my dream brain turned that into rooms from everywhere I’ve ever been and showed them to me, all at once.
