That’s what would happen more deeply if I had to declare myself demo or repub. No thanks. It’s up to you Carrie to make sure he gets nominated. I don’t want the 10,000 phone calls/emails/pleadings for support from OTHER democrats in other races about other things.
If he’d run independent, I’d be fine. But he’s stuck with the 2 party system and I understand that but I’m not getting into its sticky mess. Nope. Up to you guys.

Get him nominated and I’ll be happy to jump on and join in. But it’s too early in the process for me. What if Clinton gets it? Then all that work is for what? Nah. I like the freedom to decide at the last moment if I want to. Right now, NOBODY is running for President.
They’re running for being nominated for their parties.
==
Mind you, Im not anti-Clinton either. Im not even anti-Trump. I’m not for ANYBODY right now. Too soon.
==
nope. can’t. I’m 44. I vote in almost every election. Always independent. Sometimes dem, sometimes repub (usually dem), independent if available.
Sorry. I also know that presidential powers are very limited ultimately as the check ‘n balances system in the USA works VERY very well to limit powers, so I ultimately don’t care who is prez athough it’d be nice to see Doc Brown in.

He says everything I want to hear perfectly. But I’ve watched president after president after president come in with great promises but once in the system, their hands were tied up and not much got accomplished.
Obamacare. By the time he got it, it had so many holes and add-ons that it was NOTHING like he intended. It’s not his plan. I also know that the NEXT prez, whoever it is (even Clinton) will likely dismantle it and change it significantly because it was flawed from the outset.
Obama repealed Bush’s No child left behind. Killing Common Core in the process (thankfully). Next prez will kill some of obama’s initiatives.
I expect whoever comes after the NEXT prez will dismantle the next prez’s initiatives too… whatever can make it through Congress.
It’s how it works and it’s why we live in a very stable country. Nothing much changes for most people most of the time.

Well, I’m counting on you to carry on the good fight for people like me. There’s a VERY good chance I’ll vote for him. But I don’t have the desire for this part of the political process.
You do and that’s great! You’re on a great path. But tou’re preaching to the converted.
I just have to stay emotionally ready in case Hillary gets it.
I know if I fought long and hard for a candidate that didn’t make the primary, I’d say “fuck it” to voting at all… and I have a great fear that THAT is what will happen to a LOT of ppl if Sanders DOESN’T get the nomination.
So work hard as long as you’re willing. i couldn’t take the heartbreak so I avoid it.
==
I think he can win. I just can’t do this kind of thing like you’re doing. Never could stomach politics. I’m a good citizen and i pay attention to EVERYTHING on the ballot, including the local, state, the supreme court, congress.
I vote every time with my awareness and conscience.
But, I can’t rally. Never could. So, like emoticon and I continue doing what you’re doing. You’re doing a good thing.
==
Being independent sucks But that’s what I am. We’re in a two party system. No room for #3 or #4. That’s why Bernie had to go Democratic. I respect that. Had to be hard for him. He’s not a democrat. He’s independent. But I can’t do it.
==
I know if I wear the Blue democratic coat for this election, an Independent cloaked as a Democrat, and he doesn’t get the primaries, I’ll give up on voting altogether. I’ll be done. Finished. Kaput. I’ll give up. I don’t want that.
He aligns so PERFECTLY with my ideology it’s almost frightening. But I know what presidents are capable of achieving and what’ they’re not capable of achieving. I know what promises are possible and what promises will die in Congress, no matter the public support, no matter what party is in there.
Checks and balances are very powerful and no elected president can change some of these things.
So, I have to wait and see. I depend on ppl like you.

I appreciate the time you took, reading listening and debating me, so I could see myself more clearly.
While it won’t change my actions, it’s good that you called me on my own bullshit. I couldn’t see it but I can now. No sarcasm here either. It was cathartic and necessary. Sometimes one doesn’t know what they believe until they’re challenged on it. So, you helped me today and I appreciate your time genuinely.
