rhaps they just felt pity :-)

I’ve never mastered the “looking in the eyes” thing. Either I do it too much or too little. But I agree – it’s cultural. I tend to avoid eye contact for the most part, but I always interviewed well, even though I am consistantly tongue tied and fumbly. For some reason, it shows intelligence, or perhaps they just felt pity :-)
