Rev. Mashod A. Evans post hits me for many reasons. I knew him at school, six years younger than I, at a tiny Pre-K-12 school that ceased to exist over 25 years ago. 200 students from ages 4 – 19, it was hard not to know almost everybody there and I knew Mashod. For me, this is a younger sibling with a past of which I never knew, carrying forth a promise denied but now fulfilled. A powerful reminder that we each represent. The question is: Who?
