Returning to Bergson and Duration, TIL about the strange case of Paul Lynds, who wrote a physics paper hailed as revolutionary in 2003 but turned out to be precisely Bergson’s ideas.
Was it a copy or was it a rediscovery? I don’t know yet, but it made worldwide press at the time.
