Rebelling against my own rebelliousness by allowing myself to join.

One of my recent quests has been to discover “my groups”. First it was to find out where I “fit in” [intellectual groups that is; philosophies, etc] but then as soon as I would find it, I would begin to find its flaws.

It took some time before I realized just how strongly “contrarian” fit me… or “rebellious” and how strongly I identified with it. So, to combat *that* I tried to find labels or groups that I *can* apply to myself without hesitation or question.

Rebelling against my own rebelliousness by allowing myself to join.

Very liberating. It’s very hard to find them, but when I do, and when the “fatal flaws”with it are entirely acceptable to me, I can embrace groups that I willingly can say, “Yes, that’s my group. Yes, that label applies to me.”

Very very hard to do at first.
