Reach the head into the clouds but keep your feet firmly planted – and KNOW when you’re leaving the ground when you do, so you can find your way back to it again

imo, you will have done the world a great favor. Kids already try like heck to prick away at the Adult world, from about age 11-25, trying various means to dismantle what came before and reconstruct it for their generation.

And honestly, a generation of skeptical realists wouldn’t be the _worst_ thing and in some ways, the ‘net has been producing a generation of them. I suppose, push comes to shove, I’ve a bit of a skeptical realist, but the flavor of skeptical realism I hold to makes me persnickety at times, as I also believe in the power of dreams/imagination/goals/whatever for someone with a good grounding in things a little more solid. Reach the head into the clouds but keep your feet firmly planted – and KNOW when you’re leaving the ground when you do, so you can find your way back to it again. That sort of thing.
