One good thing we have we that we didn’t have years ago is Youtube, so it’s usually possible to find _some_ performance of a piece. But to find something live is another story.

Young people of a higher intelligence quickly become bored with canned suggestions from Pandora, Youtube, Google, etc, so they seek out things on their own. I use my ne as an example: he mocks the Related Videos on youtube and avoids their recommendations… or at least tries. Sometimes he loses this battle with himself and clicks on them anyway.

So, there’s hope. People of some amount of intelligence don’t want machines to automate their interests too much if they can help it.
