Quite often, the most common response (which in this case is, “oh look at the stupid Christian”) – WAS likely the intent.

Yes, I mean it could be real. But it just seems too acted to me. I mean, people rage all of the time. But how many rages go viral accidentally? Eh, it’s my bias. I’m automatically skeptical of anything that gets popular very quickly. It tells me “there’s a lot of suckers out there” who aren’t putting on their critical thinking caps.

I’m not saying you’re one; you hadn’t seen the video. But I’ve been suckered by memes and viral things before, and so I’m wary of it, especially if they’re trying to ‘prove something’. Quite often, the most common response (which in this case is, “oh look at the stupid Christian”) – WAS likely the intent.

I just don’t like junk science. I hold science to a much higher standard of scrutiny because people believe Science-Says / Statistics-Show quite readily, especially if it conforms with their pre-conceived notions…. and even MORESO if it’s results are divisive.
