That is a great example! In my case, I was very bad at raising my hand. I would just “blurt out” the answers throughout my elementary school years, which would get me in trouble frequently. But by the time I was in sixth grade, I challenged myself to always raise my hand like everybody else does and so from that point on, I did. It wasn’t to socialize though but rather I gamified expectations because otherwise they’d make a fuss. I didn’t like a fuss made of me.

I’m definitely intrigued by the idea of using the sources to help drive the prospectus. For some people, I would imagine a central question might be easier to start with. However, I think I prefer the idea of letting the found sources help determine a focused question and topic because one needs sources whatever the choice of topic is and if the topic isn’t supported by sources, then what will there be to cite for sources?
