What kills me is how many otherwise normally intelligent people simply BELIEVED HIM when he said there was a CEASEFIRE. — and that those of us who didn’t believe him had TDS or were loony or something. But I see it as 1) recognizing that: Israel doesn’t keep ceasefire agreements, ESPECIALLY IF somebody TOLD THEM to have one and they never agreed to it. 2) Trump does wishful thinking. Out loud. I didn’t want him to be wrong because I don’t want to be involved in someone’s war and make it ours too. I don’t care that it’s ‘trump’. It’s the USA now so I want whoever makes these decisions for them to be smart ones.

Music making algorithms have been around for a few years; in music theory (anybody who took piano lessons as a kid) learns that Western music follows certain predictable rules and so it was ripe for computers when they came along. Still, I wondered if anybody had made lengthy generative music or had one that could make it live. All the ones I found that would do it live had me sign up or pay or whatever so forget that but this one has it like a radio that plays ones they already did. Good enough.

I want to be wrong. It is not a political tit-for-tat thing where I am trying to get out “gotchas” to the opposing team. I. do. not. want. war. So I have to be careful that MY OWN SIDE isn’t bluffing for show. It’s worse to believe “EVERYBODY’S FINE” and get caught with our pants down than it is to be cautious and certain before celebrating.
