Progressive Libertarianism growing up in a New Jersey suburb, it was a short period of time where the police actively pursued every bicycle incident with a child as if they were committing felonies. we all got pulled over by police cars, chased, in one square mile suburban town. it was absolutely excess. we ditched the mayor that allowed the police to do this freely, and the next mayor put up a community center for children it was very popular and they’re still open 30 years later. A community has to choose: are we a community that is hostile to children? do we allow deaths of children to be acceptable because of some principal? communities have to decide this.
