possibly. I’ve had an idea for paintable computers for a long long time now that includes charging itself by electrostatics and being so thin when it ‘dries’ (it would never really dry so that the mechanical cellular automata could reconfigure into a display or touch or speakers as needed) — well anyway, i’ll look around to see if there’s been any progress
