Yet they were at odds with each other in a fundamental way, as documented by Lakatos. it is thanks to Lakatos and Popper that we even HAVE a notion of SCIENCE CULTURE and a ‘POLITICS OF SCIENCE”. Lakatos and Popper had lasting in fluence in science and the idea of a “scientific community”. But Feyerabend? What lasting influence has he had? He’s a talking point. His influence died out in the 1970s.
