Philosophically, do objects exist? “Smack it with a hammer”. A hammer strike exposes an object to pretty much all the vibrating frequencies at once. The object filters out the frequencies it doesn’t vibrate at and what’s left over, is the natural set of resonant frequencies for that object. It might all be waves but you got a right to your own waves too. https://www.reddit.com/r/askscience/comments/2winwa/how_do_you_find_the_resonant_frequency_of_an/

I’m looking at a way to separate an object into an object and away from being part of nonspecific waves that travel through the universe.

A fingerprint of resident frequencies is one possibility of doing so, particularly without vision.

Well, that’s a good question. I think some make themselves known more than others in a given object. and so it outlines itself in a way.

It’s sort of pantheistic of me but that’s how it goes sometimes.
