Pam Costa – thanks! it was something that popped in my head just now, after re-reading the “tolerance” quote and I remembered a time from … gosh, 22 yrs ago. It’s something I struggle with – especially when my OWN intolerance pops up. And sometimes being FIXED and INTOLERANT *is* necessary – standing your ground, or “fighting the good fight” – rarely though. Yet I think that so many battles …are fought over a grain of sand on a piece of land – tiny little battles of avoiding Bruised Egos or “hurt first before you get hurt” that the War of Inner Peace is lost. I’ve seen people who wake up angry, spend their days angry, go to sleep angry – and for what purpose? Avoiding hurt? The expection of perfection? I guess every… “
