People are gonna stick labels on you. I think it’s good to know what they are. Even if the labels don’t fit perfectly or even well, there’s SOMETHING that other people notice about you that has _some_ resemblance to the label, which makes it worth investigating, maybe even being willing to embrace.

I always liked “meta”. The current trend for “meta” in the GenZ is to say “uber”. Same idea. For “cool” there’s “dank” and for “hot” (as in sexy”) it’s “swag”.
I love watching languages shift and change. Always been an interest, as I liked keeping two steps ahead of nieces and nephews through the years. I understand what they’re saying more than they do and they don’t even know I understand, although my latest nephew knows that I know.
