Paul Follows So I continued with this notion of “noticing moments” – each interaction with anything is a moment – and their interactions with other things is their moments – a symphony at some scales, cacophony at other scales, all depending where the cutoff of the noticing is. The cutoff makes the difference – and it can be “all cutoff” if one chooses, allowing no moments their salience. So I continued with the notion; the notion of EVENTS being interactions, interactions occur across spacetime – throw spaghetti to the wall and maybe some would stick. So, on March 23, 2014, I made 195 6 second Vines set to music, all in a row, over a 8-9 hour period I think, naming every nation on earth at the time and its capital city… six seconds of my time spent with each. I did the US States shoutouts a few weeks later on 4/6/2014 also set to music – mostly EDM. Ended up being a total of about 25 minutes, 6 seconds recorded at a time – but since each Vine took some set up of music, typing the information in, uploading it, etc, that’s why it took so many hours each time. So, by way of example for moments, we have this: an event – a moment, an interaction across space and time. A comment on one of the individual Vines I made in 2014 that I’d archived and exists long after Vine ceased to exist – and
Part2:
My 6s shoutout to Estonia made 2014-03-23, uploaded to archive dot org on 2016-02-07 16:33:58 and reviewed on Jan 5, 2023 by “Xoemyr”.
Those are moments. Created things. Synchronous collisions across space and time and threading through it.

    • So what is the value of a moment? Intrinsic or extrinsic? The value is relational. It is Interactional. I don’t know what is intrinsic or extrinsic; I think in the least of things there are engines of flux that become organized by their interactions with other centerings of flux, pulling and pushing like taffy, splitting and globbing into chews or stringy messes on a candy shoppe floor
