“partial frames”, a way to break down superordinate concepts into attributes and values, tie into to subordinate concepts – based on Kuhn’s work – it’s supposedly a natural way to break things down in how we tend to naturally break down concepts and connect them together in unique new ways. Now whether we do or not I don’t know but a search for partial frames philosophy comes up with a bunch; and it’s a nice format for a diagram I think – and there’s variations of course.
