part of it is what happens to any famous influential person. There’s always a backlash. So that forms a base that can happen to anybody who reaches that mega status.

Now add being a women. Woman with power and money.
Now add being young. Young woman with power and money.
Now add being pretty. Pretty young women with power and money.
Now add being basically a good, responsible pretty young woman with power and money.
And the clincher?
Now add using power to change society in a way a people, [people X] who would complain any way wouldn’t like, such as her ability to sign up voters that are presumably for “the opposing team”.
So now you have:
a good, responsible pretty young woman with power and money who is using her power to change society in a way [people X] don’t like.
