Our worldview dont’ change. they simply refine to a deeper level of what’s already there.

I tend to believe that when we seem to be _changing_ our worldview, we’re instead *refining* our pre existent worldview and allowing the new information to give it different dimensions, different names, different amplifications and reductions.

When we resolve the cognitive dissonance, we’re resolving it to ‘something’ that’s already there.
