Ontological pluralism.
That’s what you’re looking for.
There are different kinds/ways/modes of being that don’t “sum over range”.
You can tell you’re in one when there is a boundary where you say from within a domain: “That information is irrelevant and can be discarded”.
That information that can be discarded is outside of the domain but is within SOME domain. So what domain captures all the domains without having to go through lots of fancy footwork? Any?

Ontological pluralism here is firmly within the realm (domain) of “philosophy of science”.
Can it become a novel kind of physics? Not really. It’s philosophy. There’s no room for “wuthering heights” in physics. It’s outside of the scope.
