One of my proudest pictures was when I was able to capture a digital picture of living dragonfly wings. It’s not to this level of detail — just about the level you’d see if you took a picture of a screen door. But to at least see the lines clearly and distinctly was a dream come true. I could never kill a dragonfly to take its picture but to get it living was satisfying.

—–Jan 1, 2011. Wow -almost perfectly 10 years ago.The lines are the lines of the screen but on the original I can zoom in a little more and see the fine lines. Not to the gorgeous level of this photo. Someday I hope phone cameras will be able to take videos where the wings of a living dragonfly are as clear as this.—
