One of my dreams as a kid was to be a Professor. A completely stereotypical one. Old worn dress coat with patches on the elbows, comfortable jeans or brown pants, moccasins, a beard and a pipe, along with a messy desk.
I’ve accomplished a number those things, at least the messy work environment. Maybe someday I’ll get my Tenure at Life. I suppose I’ve adopted what I’d consider to be Professor-isms through the years, along with some of the traits of some of my other role model professions, such as Psychologist, Middle School Teacher, Rabbi/priest/minister and the like.
