One had connections that went up to the US Supreme Court and and the Executive Office. [the Republican they all wanted on the Wisconsin Supreme Court]. The other (elected Governor of Wisconsin who is a Democrat) had rightful power to execute a decision on the WIsconsin primaries. Considering 12 other states did the same thing, it wasn’t a big deal. Magically, for _some reason_ somebody made it a big deal. Then a bigger deal. Then an even BIGGER deal and got what they wanted. Lost anyway.
