On the contrary here, I don’t mind people self-diagnosing.
The exception is when they self-diagnose AND THEN declare themselves the expert on the condition, often attempting to diagnose and provide overly simple, inappropriate solutions for other people.
I’m not the gatekeeper of other people’s self-diagnosed problems.
But I will _gladly_ gatekeep the giving of bad advice.
