OLED is beautiful and I really look forward to foldable displays. Now if they can get them to crumble up in your pocket like a cheap receipt and be cheap enough to be disposable and will biograde into natural components … THEN we’re talking :) But we’re getting closer

I’m behind on a lot of the specifics but I catch bits and pieces here and there as they come along. I look for the paradigm shift changes in things and a lot of changes have been great but slower than I’d like.

I heard something recently about new battery technology that will increase storage 2-3 times current capacity thanks to building *upwards” *in 3D* instead of just sideways. Sort of like active layering of circuits. That’s the kind of thing that I’d been waiting to see more of because it renders a lot of the current engineering limitations moot. If they can’t get wired much skinnier and closer together than they can now, by moving upwards and moving into another dimension, they just have to stack higher to do more.
