ok: so it is not “if” you can transition from here to there but “how many ways” can you transition from here to there. # of transition possibilities = # of affordances.
and the more types of transitions they can be unified the stronger the type of transition.
but more the transition type changes from expectations from original, the more surprising it is. video to a/v waveform like radon transform, corn to oil (partially hydrogenated) or gasoline substitute.

i *think* if i organize types right, each can become a single choice that leads into further choices.
that way the exclusions are minimal and natural and what might be excluded early on may be rejoined later on from another route.
i have a feeling that choices acted upon are one way because time never stops and that returning to a choice is actually starting a new similar route but not the same.
