Ok, so I’m not crazy (no pun intended). I keep seeing the same patterns over and over and over again in the categorizations. People get ‘married’ to their favorite categories which makes it difficult. I found out through this that at least the ICD-11 uses symptoms to build with rather than tradition (DSM is tradition as is educational psychology) so I’ll explore that. https://icd.who.int/browse11/l-m/en#/http%3a%2f%2fid.who.int%2ficd%2fentity%2f1516623224 But really I’m glad that there was something to this REALLY STRONG feeling that I’m looking at a VENN DIAGRAM when I read these papers. https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-020-00922-8
