Ok. I drew my thoughts on the Wayfair employee boycott for those who say, “but they want those kids to have no beds”.
BCFS serves the function of:
“Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,”
Claims non-profit. Doubt [x]. Companies in a free market economy are not compelled to supply other companies with goods or services unless regulated by law.
As Wayfair supplies a common item, losing Wayfair in the supply chain for BCFS simply means BCFS will have to find another supplier. Wayfair is not the sole supplier of, what is it, beds?
if they’re a smart company, they’re do what Bank of America just did this morning and declare that they will no longer serve suppliers to these facilities and focus their attention elsewhere.
