I didn’t know anybody who got big in computer business stuff, but I knew a lot of hacker types through BBS’ and things, names that would repeatedly show up in forums and stuff – same as here on Facebook really. My first print shop was in the mid-1980s and involved “The Print Shop” and meant making banners on loud dot matrix printers. So I was used to digital layout by the time I did the printshop work. I was really surprised to find out just how messy a real print shop was.
