Oh yes, please do. I’m just speaking for what I do and why. I don’t understand most foreign policy of nations and never did. I understand the UN and its mission but the national games nations play against one another socially, economically, politically, etc never made sense to me.
I mean, when is the species going to grow up?
No. The extreme homeless are invisible to many Americans. We make excuses such as “They closed all of the mental institutions in the 1970s and that is why there are so many homeless people”. or “They are on drugs and deserve to be there because they had bad parents”.
But another problem is many Americans do not think of people who always travel as homeless or individuals and families that live with other families for free as homeless. Yet, they are homeless.
So we hear “more families are doubling up” instead of “families are homeless”.
Decades of propaganda. Also, we are taught that homeless aren’t really people. They are “problems.”
Interestingly, when we do our census count every 10 years, we do not usually count the homeless.
They live here but their number is not represented.
If you do not have a mailing address, you quite literally do not count.
