Oh yes! A lot of stuff I’d looked at over the last few years involved what allows those patterns to form in the first place – and what amazes me that seems to go unsaid so much is that EXCEPT FOR the smallest of the small – and it may be there as well – nearly everything seems to be modellable as a poset, because either we humans or the systems themselves “chose”top/bottom boundaries or extents, which means ALL of the tools usable for partial order sets can be used to model very much anything down to a very useful fine grainedness. I don’t know if this 100% true but I have yet to find much that contradicts it; theoretical infinites usually get limits put on them and that turns everything within into a partial order set, even if there are infinities within that.
