Oh well that’s AUTHORITARIANISM. I’m of the “lib left” side of things. I stay away from most authoritarians, left or right or middle. The accusation launched by the left (lib left I guess – I don’t know much about authoritarian lefts)- about police is usually: a) the right wing libertarians want them around to “protect their property rights” b) the right wing authoritarians want them for… well, whatever Karen-type reason they can think up.
