Oh, the economy’s fucked. It’s been coming for decades – and the bubble from the last 3 years was waiting to burst — but yeah. It’s more than just instant 25% unemployment rate USA.

I’m thinking specifically about Mnuchen. He authored the stimulus package and prefers a weak dollar.

I don’t know about any parties or anything else but I know that guy’s the Foreclosure King.
He’s the fox I’m specifically talking about.

I have no problem with printing free money – so long as it’s done correctly. As he made his big bucks during the foreclosure crisis though, I’m skeptical of any consciousness over consequences of decisions. This is distinct from the Progressive proposals which are smart and have potential staying power.

Two people can make the same decision.
One has an eye towards infrastructure.
The other has an eye towards temporary opportunism.
It only looks the same.

Erek Tinker I haven’t been following the stimulus thing much but this is what I my concern is, in order:

1) “HEY EVERYBODY! $2000 to Affected Americans” -Mnuchen/Trump

sounds the same as what Bernie Sanders said the night before. Everybody cheers. Finally, they’re getting smart after 3 years!

2) We’re going to put in an income test so millionaires don’t get it.

Ok, sounds reasonable but will it work with the IRS or separate? Who’s getting this income data?

3) Only hourly wage earners under a certain amount will get it.

That leaves out self-employed, salaried employees and other groups.

By the time it’s done, it won’t be 315 million people getting help. It won’t be 100 million getting help. We’ll be lucky if it’s 5 million getting help.

So, it might SOUND the same at first, but it’s different.

}Here’s a breakdown as of 22 hours ago. I don’t know what’s changed. I haven’t read it through but I know there’s a lot of misinformation out there.

Note: TAXPAYERS.
What about people whose income is too low to file?
Devil’s in the details.
