PAnentheism is a metaphor in my case for communication. The reason why it was important for having Divine and material in parallel but not mixing too often but only sometimes – but always communicating – that is, their relationship is generally harmonious – it’s because I try not to mess with the structure or bulk of material but instead focus on the communication Pathways which are surface and go deep and in fact do touch everything material, but with less and less reach usually
What brought me to the train was watching a military plane crash in a dream.
in the car watching it Go past us overhead. It was close and I kept saying don’t crash don’t crash don’t crash – because we were nearby and I knew we would have to get involved
The shadow went overhead then we saw the plane and it crashed a block in front of us. Some kind of small experimental one person plane – trianglular.
A few minutes later, a guy in a head to toe flightsuit showed up in the car, which became a bus for more standing room as what happens in dreams.
He was pretty serious and I was cracking nervous jokes but he was friendly enough
He needed to use my phone but I was uncomfortable with him using my phone but willing to help.
He only needed a four digit dial to talk to his Commander. But I thought he was screwing up and my phone was misbehaving so I kept taking it back from him and looking at it and giving it back to him and we were kabitizing back and forth.
At one point we figure out that my phone was fine and that he was dialing it correctly.
I made an awkward joke about a hug. He looked uncomfortable and said, “my wife wouldn’t like that” and I said “don’t worry, your flight suit is like a giant condom that surrounds you” and I woke up and I realized that he was an angel or part of the godhead that fell down from heaven and the cell phone was the panentheistic universe using my quirky but mostly ok energies to talk to itself – its energies not essense – although I didn’t want him using my phone because it’s a little messed up – but it still works ok .
The plane crashing is a nod to interventionalism – this is the part that allows for miracles and other divine-material interaction that goes beyond the everyday communications.
And all of that religious stuff was a metaphor for communication which in itself is a metaphor for my approach to the world and everything in it and Beyond it and within it and wherever it needs to go even to impossible things (meinongian objects)
It’s not a duality even if it appears to be a lot of the time. But it’s not a monism either because there is functional distinction between the two even if they work together.
The co-creator/coevolution/ symbiogenesis (the relationship theories) showed up in the kabitizing : despite being divine, the divine creature was not omniscient : it needed my help to talk to itself. It didn’t know what I was going to do or say and we also co evolved in our understanding of the situation- that is some of the magic of communication, particularly when it’s across different data types – especially where the carrier of the data itself is communicating with the data and the data is communicating with the carrier of the data. Except it’s not always easy to know who’s carrying and who’s being carried
So now I can see it the same mechanisms in different realms or domains. I’d like to thank Claude Shannon in particular for showing the importance of redundancy in effectively communicating across noisy lines (my ADHD brain) – and George Lakoff legitimizing metaphor and elevating it — And this will probably make no sense when I read it later. 12-11-22 or 11-12-22 or 22-12-11 or 22-11-12 but rarely 11-22-12 or 12-22-11
