oh no no no not at all quite the opposite!! Our conversations here have been IMPROVING my focus. They tie in perfectly and are building a safe structure AROUND what I’m studying. If I’m faced with “just a lecture to listen to”, I can’t. It’s not enough. I need to jump around a lot. But if what I’m jumping around relates to what I’m doing, it increases my engagement with it in a robust way, girding it against the usual “thinness” there is whenever I try to focus on something I don’t want to do
