Oh, it extends long before covid. My point is: you can defend America without also having to defend our system of liberty denying policing just to score points in an internet debate over sharia law. Our policing methodology is not constitutionally laid out in the way that it’s performed; the immunities granted to US police go beyond almost any other class in society; this is abnormal on the world stage and yet just as fish don’t know they’re swimming in water, we Americans grow accustomed to their extra powers and protections Mind you, I’m NOT anti-police. But rather excess.
