Oh I think he likes the spotlight very very much. This is his life now. He likely has a book coming out. He will be a public speaker for CPAC and other places for decades to come.
He’s a cash cow. Cash cash cash and I’m sure he’s getting his share because that’s how the game works and he’s deep in for good.
I’ve watched this play out a lot; one trick pony does a thing a group likes, and their whole life is defined by that thing and it is all they know how to do; tell and retell a story to an adoring crowd and profit from it.
The difference is; he was swooped up by some powerful people early on; long before it even went to trial; his fate for decades set as a future grifter. There won’t be anything else he can do.
To me, whatever happened two years ago doesn’t matter at this point; he’s a public figure. That Kyle Rittenhouse in that picture above is long deceased.
He does not exist anymore except in the imaginations of adoring fans.
He has to live up to that “poor me hero” from now on; gaining adoration and victim sympathy whether he wants to or not and hopefully have a good life from doing so. Doesn’t matter if it’s true or not; it’s what people expect of him.
