Oh EVERY LAST ONE OF those hits me right in the childhood lol.
I had NO IDEA that tracing was “perfectly fine”. That artists do it. That’s it’s ok. That it’s 100% VALID.
If I knew, I’d have been tracing for YEARS instead of saying
__I CAN’T DRAW__.
Ugh. Who let those meanies hog up so much of the opinion pool. It’s like those childhood teachers that look at your drawing and say “YOU CLEARLY WEREN’T TRYING VERY HARD”. when you’d given it your all. Creativity vampires.
