Of *COURSE* you are. Thankfully *most* local police departments are not wannabe marines in a war zone. For those police in police departments that are though? I can only hope they get rooted out by their superiors. If their superiors have the marine bug? … well… if I lived in an area like that…. well… I’d form some kind of underground network to get out to a safe zone while you can. “collateral damage” is awful enough when it’s used as a phrase for innocent people being murdered by those who should know better in war zones. But I will not be proud of our country if it gets used here. I’m already not proud that we use that phrase elsewhere.
