Cheryl Wilson RushingOh you are absolutely right on both counts, although I think the murder was one of pure unbridled rage; the rage of broken trust in a friendship – at least from the perspective of the murderer. It doesn’t justify it by any means – but humans are humans, whether today or 100,000 years ago, guided by the same emotions, as our brain chemistry hasn’t changed at all. In the mind …of the murderer, I believe it is the same as Treason is in most countries – a crime still punishable by death, even in the USA. And of course, they shouldn’t have taken the photos in the first place without seeing the consequences but the phrase “typical teenager” comes into my head for a reason.
