Not sure what the last paragraph was about; seems like one of those “only those who know know spooky mystery ahh” or maybe a vague swipe at a vague hypothetical group – but in this video the mother’s about to lash out at the child out of her childhood training, quickly stops and changes course towards gentle parenting. The mood shift only shows in 1/2 a second; I didn’t catch it the first time or two because I wasn’t raised in the kind of abusive environment that she clearly was; but then I saw the face and hand gesture and the shift.
