Not really. But in the 1980s, I was a teenager. In the 1980s in the USA, “Satanic Panic” was everywhere. Every music I heard was “Satanic”. Preschool teachers were running Satanic cults. Dungeons and Dragons would turn your children Satanic.
There was public hysteria on TV all of the time and Zeena was constantly being interviewed as “the spokesperson”. So I was familiar with her.
I didn’t play D&D but many of my friends did and Christian Fundamentalism was extremely powerful in the 1980s.
Dangers to teens were sex, drugs, heavy metal, video games and dungeons and dragons, in any order.
It was all ridiculous of course but many of the adults at the time really believed and would forbid their children from playing video games and D&D, etc.
In the 90s, Pokemon was declared demonic, inviting spirits into children’s lives and parents were banning their kids from playing the card game or having a Gameboy, etc.
