lol – although … there’s some truth to that in some sense!

For your consideration:

No two computers are identical.

State machines. The moment they are in operation, much like how twins or clones are clearly individuals despite similar initial conditions, they are nearly always in different states.

Over time, the differences between states grows to currently incalcuable amounts.

That gives each computer its own personality. Each can end up with unique problems, memory issues that are hard to track down, etc.

A ghost in the machine.
